Jacob Kader is a producer, writer and director. He received his MFA from Columbia University.
He is the co-writer of the feature film Abe, which World Premiered at Sundance 2019 and was released digitally on April 17, 2020.
He made his Off-Broadway debut as Co-Author of Food and Fadwa at New York Theater Workshop in 2012. The play has been translated into Arabic and has been produced or had a staged reading in Abu Dhabi, Beirut, Iowa, and Minneapolis.
His feature script Small Victories was selected for the Jordan Film Commission/Sundance Institute RAWI Screenwriting Lab in 2009. His short thesis film, Quarter Magic, premiered at the 2011 Twin Cities Arab Film Festival. His projects have received support and development grants from The Jerome, Edgerton, and Robert Sterling Clark Foundations.
He is actively developing content for small and large screens.
